Well.. not quite. I’ve been offline without Internet at home or Cable TV for that matter for 2 nights. I got home after work last night to find I had no Cable. Big deal right? No biggie. I always got my PC.
Can’t connect to Internet Errors. Oh Shit.
Well.. a frantic call to the to Cable company to bitch them out got me a technician here tonight after work. Not bad. 24hrs turnaround from time of call to resolution of problem. Turns out that my place’s connection to the main cable switchbox was “loose”.
This was determined after a nice fellow showed up tonight with laptop, a case of Andrew cable, and a toolbox in tow. He looked over the joint, tested the line and found I was getting no signal. What a genius he was. Anyways, a trip to the cable box room, and 20 minutes later I’ve got my Internet and TV up and running again.
Guess it’s not much, but I found that late at night, with neither the TV nor the Internet to entertain me I was left with little alternative, but to spend time with the wife.
